The exhibition pursues the reflection on the 4x4 vehicles used for humanitarian relief efforts as spaces of both assistance and power. Used by humanitarian organizations, the 4x4s become, in this exhibition, at once an object of study and a site of emancipation.
The exhibition is a formal and thoughtful extension of the creative documentary zo reken on the possibilities for decolonizing humanitarian aid. Author Maïka Sondarjee’s contribution to the exhibition, involving her concept of radical internationalism, interacts with excerpts from the film presented in an installation.

Cette exposition présentée à la Galerie UQO s’inscrit dans la poursuite de la réflexion sur les véhicules 4x4 dans le contexte de l’aide humanitaire comme espaces d’aide et de pouvoir. Utilisés par les organisations d’aide humanitaire, ils deviennent dans cette exposition à la fois un objet d’étude et un lieu d’émancipation.
L’exposition constitue un prolongement formel et réflexif du documentaire de création zo reken sur les possibilités de décoloniser l’aide humanitaire. La contribution à l’exposition de l’auteure Maïka Sondarjee et de son concept d’internationalisme radical dialogue avec des extraits du film présentés dans un format installatif.
